Fremont Unified Student Store (FUSS) is pleased to be able to offer the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) and the California Math League (CAML) contests to FUSD. FUSS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds to support all schools and students in FUSD.
CAML is part of the Math League (www.mathleague.com). Over 1 million students take part in Math League contests each year. The CAML contests offer challenging math problems for students in grades 4-5. The CAML tests will be offered in April or May for grades 4 and 5. The Algebra 1 test will be offered in April or May too.
AMC is offered by the Mathematical Association of America (www.maa.org/math-competitions). They offer some of the most challenging and prestigious math contests for students in grades 6-12. The AMC 8 contest will be offered in November. The AMC 10 and 12 contests will be offered in January and February.
These contests are open to all students residing in Fremont. If your student is interested in taking one or more of these contests, please take this survey so we can contact you when the contest is arranged. You must take this survey in order to be notified when to register for each contest. You will be notified a few weeks before each contest.
If you have any questions, please contact Robert Hou at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Net proceeds from all FUSS’s events go to support FUSD schools and programs.
