Web Development Workshop:

This interactive workshop will provide an overview of website development. Instead of learning JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in a textbook format, students will receive individual guidance from a knowledgeable instructor (Front End Developer – MSJ/FUSD/UCSD Alumus) in a small class setting. At the end of the 4 week workshop, students will produce a dynamic website on the topic of their choice and leave prepared for more advanced and focused web development studies.

This workshop is for FUSD high school students who will be in the 11th or 12th grade starting Fall 2013/2014 school year. There will be 2 sessions for this workshop. Each session will be for 4 weeks. 2 hours on Saturday for 4 consecutive weeks:

1.  First 4-week session: 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13
2.  Second 4-week session:  7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10
3.  Time: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
4.  Location:  DMCA Bookstore – 46164 Warm Springs Blvd., #258, Fremont, CA 94539
5.  Cost: $88/session
6.  Laptop Computer: strongly recommended
7.  Capacity is limited. First come first served
