Do you want to help raise money to support FUSD Art and Drama Programs by participating in a fashion show?
The first 25 applicants from each of the FUSD high schools will be auditioned.
Top Candidates from each high school will be selected to perform in the Education in Fashion Show.
We need a total of 36 female and 12 male models.
Participants will dress up in gowns/tux supplied by Weddings & Dreams, work with professional model agents, fashion designers and make-up artists.
When: December 20, 21, 22 (50 auditions per day)

We want to thank our 3 judges (Ms. Sharon Coco from District Office, Ms. Jeanne Batacan-Harper from Star Struck Theater, and Mr. Thomas Banuelos from Harbor Light/Fremont Christian School) for making such tough decisions.
We want to thank Resonate Movement Church for supporting us on lighting and camera.
We want to thank Walter Garcia for working with the sound and video team.
We want to congratulate ALL of the participants, because every participant is a winner!
High School – 1st place: Irvington High School – 6 students from the Irvington High’s Dance Class and Advanced Dance Club led by teacher Ms. Michelle Lau, choreographed and performed a dance named “Build a Home”. They won $1,000 and a trophy for Irvington High School.
Junior High School – 1st place: Thornton Junior High – Student, Natalie Dunn, sang “Hallelujah”, a song made popular in the movie Shrek. Her guitar accompanist, Mr. Scott Iwata, was her elementary school teacher who inspired her to sing, and is now the principal of Warm Springs Elementary School. She won $1,000 and a trophy for Thornton Junior High.
Elementary School – 1st place: Parkmont Elementary School – Parkmont’s 70-student chorus led by Ms. Cathy Strommen, sang “50 Stars – You’re a Grand Old Flag.” They won $1,000 and a trophy for Parkmont Elementary School.
Elementary School – 2nd place: Mattos Elementary School – Student, Eden Mercado sang “Greatest Love of All”. She won $600 for Mattos Elementary School.
Elementary School – 3rd place: Warm Springs Elementary School – 2 Warm Springs students, Ansal Majmudar and Tejas Venkateswaran, sang and did a traditional IndianTabla Duet. They won $400 for Warm Springs Elementary School.
